The New Compact Cash Recycler "RCM-500" for depositing cash sales and dispensing change at retails stores has been developed for sales from June 2017, and is scheduled to be exhibited at our booth in "Retail Tech Japan" to be held at the Tokyo Big Sight from March 7.

Since the retail industry is critically suffering from the lack of human resources, it is required to improve the operation of human resources and control the cash operation in each retail store. Under the circumstances, each responsible or assigned person at each retail store is taking the deposit of sale proceeds and preparing the change after counting the bills received at each cash register. The job of the cashiers has been streamlined due to the increase of the self-operated registers handled by customers in addition to the conventional type of registers. However, the increase of the recycling machine has adversely caused the increase of the collection and deposit of cash sales, and also the preparation and replenishment of change.

The newly developed Compact Cash Recycler "RCM-500" with IC tag is equipped with a high-quality currency cassette called "i-Cassette", which is capable of recording the register number, the amount collected and amount remaining in the recycling machine. This way, the system called "Cash Link", which can collect and deposit cash amounts and also prepare and replenishing change without the need to touch the cash has been developed by linking the Change Dispenser "500 series", Compact Cash Recycler "RCM-500" and "i-Cassette".

Utilizing the "Cash Link" using the "i-Cassette", we will scrutinize and streamline the collection of sales amounts and dispensing of change, which have been assigned to only a few responsible people. We are confident that this operation will become standard in the domestic retail industry.
